OUR PATH TO SUSTAINABILITY


We want to conserve natural resources and ensure the regenerative capacity of all systems.
WEPU has already started the journey towards a more eco-friendly production an operation:
  • Electricity saving through the latest techniques
  • Optimized energy management in production (cooling systems, compressed air generation, condensate recirculation, etc.)
  • Waste is carefully separated and sent for recycling Production residues go into animal feed production
  • Continuous expansion of the organic share
  • Creation of compensation areas to preserve biodiversity
  • Conversion to e-mobility
Organic certification according to the EC Organic Regulation

WE­ LOVE­ ORGANIC

Already now we bake about 70% of our breads from controlled organic raw materials (of course with certificate and organic seal). And the number is increasing.
